Installation of Windows Server 2000

 1.Take out the CD labeled with the name Windows Server 2000 Operating System(OS) and insert it into the CD-Drive of your computer tower (CPU)

2.Perform some basic steps before proceeding with the installation of win-2000,press the DEL button on your keyboard (the key settings may vary from system to system and BIOS settings of the company)and this will lead you into the BIOS setup of your computer and here change the first boot device to CD ROM,since this is the device which will load the OS on your computer hence it should have the highest priority.Now save the settings and exit the BIOS setup

3.Now you will see that system will restart and it will start loading the CD and at that instance you will be prompted to press any key on your keyboard in order  to boot from CD and the you have to press any key on the keyboard .

4.Now you will see the screens as shown below

5.Wait until the files are loaded fully as shown below

6.Now setup will start windows 2000,as shown below

7.To setup Windows 2000,press ENTER :-shown below

8.Press F8 button on your keyboard to agree the License Agreement :- shown below

9.To setup Windows 2000on the Unpartitioned space,press Enter :-shown below

10.Next format the partition using the file system as you wish,depending upon your requirements,if the computer is a part of Network then better go for NTFS file systems or if the computer is for personal use in that case FAT file system can be used.

11.Wait for the setup to format the Hard Disk :-below

15.Now you will see a Windows 2000 setup wizard click on -->Next :-shown below
